It was a rough start to the week, but we had a great encounter with 6 Humpbacks today. 4 amorous males chasing after a mother and calf. A few close passes by the boat made everyone hold their breaths plus we got covered in whale snot - can't get any closer than that!
Another surprise moment was when a baby Hammerhead Shark cruised past the boat on the surface. We were wondering where mum was, but she did not show herself. Great moment though.
